What is SMRAT?
SMRAT, short for Secured MoonRat Token, is a community-driven decentralized finance (DeFi) project built on the Binance (BSC) smart chain. The project aims to provide passive income to token holders, and its unique feature is that users can earn BNB rewards simply by holding SMRAT tokens.According to the project description, MoonRat is the first project on the BSC network to reward users with BNB simply for holding tokens.

SMRAT’s operational mechanism primarily consists of the following three core functions:
- Reflection: A certain percentage of fees is collected from each transaction, and a portion of these fees is redistributed proportionally to all SMRAT holders as BNB rewards.
- LP Acquisition: Another portion of the transaction fees is used to automatically inject liquidity into the liquidity pool (LP) to enhance the token’s liquidity and stability.
- Burn: A portion of the transaction fees is also sent to a burn address, thereby reducing the total token supply, which could theoretically impact the value of the remaining tokens.
Where can SMRAT be traded?
As of this writing, SMRAT has not yet been officially listed on major centralized exchanges (CEXs) such as KuCoin and Coinbase, nor can it be directly exchanged for fiat currency or traded on these platforms. This means users cannot buy or sell SMRAT directly on large centralized platforms, as they can with Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Given the limited trading options on mainstream CEXs, SMRAT is primarily traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).Users typically need to use a Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask) that supports the Binance smart chain, connect to a DEX platform (such as PancakeSwap), and then buy or sell SMRAT by exchanging BNB or other BEP-20 tokens.
SMRAT Market Performance and Data Overview
Regarding SMRAT’s market data, different cryptocurrency data tracking platforms (such as CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap) show some discrepancies, and certain key metrics (such as market capitalization and 24-hour trading volume) are often listed as “unavailable” or extremely low. This typically reflects the token’s low market activity and limited liquidity.
SMRAT’s total supply and maximum supply are enormous, reaching the level of several hundred trillion; for example, CoinMarketCap once listed its maximum supply as 970 trillion SMRAT. Specific figures for the circulating supply are generally not provided.Historical price data shows that SMRAT has reached a relatively high all-time high, but the current price has fallen significantly from that peak.

It is important to note that due to low market activity, SMRAT’s price volatility may be high, and trading depth may be insufficient.
