Introduction to CIOTX and the Project’s Current Status
CIOTX, short for Crosschain IOTX, was a decentralized digital currency based on blockchain technology. Deployed on the Polygon (Matic) blockchain, it was designed to provide secure and transparent transactions and could be used in various scenarios, such as smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps), operating independently of traditional financial systems.
However, according to public information, the CIOTX project is no longer active.On February 21, 2024, the project suffered a bridge exploit, resulting in a significant expansion of its token supply and the creation of approximately 410 million additional tokens. As part of security remediation measures, the project team has officially discontinued CIOTX and requested its delisting from major data platforms.
CIOTX Circulation and Trading Status
Given that the CIOTX project has been discontinued and is facing delisting, its circulation and trading status have undergone fundamental changes. According to records from authoritative data sources such as CoinMarketCap, CIOTX’s circulating supply is now shown as zero, indicating that the token is no longer supported by the project team or actively circulating in mainstream markets.Although some wallets or decentralized exchanges may still display its price or offer exchange services, this typically reflects extremely low liquidity or defunct trading pairs, posing extremely high trading risks.
