SMSCHAIN Project Overview

Technical Vision and Architecture
SMSCHAIN plans to build its own blockchain solution using a sidechain model.This design aims to ensure the security and auditability of platform transactions by periodically anchoring sidechain data to mainstream public blockchains such as Bitcoin. Its goal is to address pain points in traditional SMS transmission, including resource waste, high costs for enterprise A2P SMS messaging, insufficient global coverage, and contract and payment compliance issues.

The SMSCHAIN project is led by Andrey Insarov, who serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is also the operator of Intis Telecom, a company specializing in enterprise SMS services. Oleg Makarov serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The company behind the project is Canopus.
SMSCHAIN raised funds through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on October 2, 2017, with plans to raise up to $50 million by issuing SMSTO tokens in two phases in October and November.
