INSUR Token Overview
INSUR is the native governance token of the InsurAce protocol, a decentralized insurance protocol designed to provide reliable, scalable, and cost-effective insurance services to DeFi users.Launched in October 2020, the INSUR token is based on the ERC-20 standard on the Ethereum blockchain. INSUR token holders can participate in InsurAce’s Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) to vote on important protocol proposals, thereby influencing the project’s direction.
How to Buy and Sell INSUR Tokens
INSUR tokens are primarily traded in the following two ways:
- Purchasing via a Centralized Exchange (CEX): Users can register an account on a centralized exchange that supports INSUR trading.After completing identity verification (KYC), users can typically purchase INSUR directly using fiat currency (such as the U.S. dollar) or other major cryptocurrencies (such as USDT, ETH, BTC, etc.). Purchased INSUR can be stored in the exchange’s custodial wallet or withdrawn to a personal Web3 wallet.
- Purchasing via Decentralized Exchanges (DEX): Since INSUR is an ERC-20 token, it can be traded on decentralized exchanges that support ERC-20 token trading on the Ethereum network, such as Uniswap (V2).Users will need a compatible Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask) and must ensure they have sufficient Ethereum (ETH) in their wallet to cover transaction gas fees, as well as stablecoins (such as USDT) or other cryptocurrencies for the exchange. After connecting your wallet to the DEX, you can proceed with the INSUR exchange.

It is worth noting that the centralized Binance exchange has not directly listed INSUR. However, users can purchase INSUR by connecting to a decentralized exchange via the Binance Web3 wallet.

INSUR Token Economics and Historical Data Overview
The total supply of INSUR tokens is 100 million. Its initial token allocation includes the mining reserve, seed and private sales, the DAO reserve, the team and advisors, and liquidity bootstrapping pools.Early data as of April 2021 indicated that INSUR’s circulating supply was approximately 8,070,036 tokens; the current circulating supply may have changed since then.
In terms of historical prices, INSUR reached an all-time high of $16.84 on April 1, 2021. Its all-time low was $0.0002, recorded on July 8, 2025.
