RUM Token Overview and Game Ecosystem
RUM is the native token of the blockchain game *Pirates of Arrland*, launched on the Polygon blockchain in May 2024. It is designed as a deflationary, utility-focused asset that plays a central role in the game’s ecosystem.

- Token Use Cases: RUM is primarily used for in-game purchases, NFT minting, on-chain farming, and participating in NFT auctions. Players can use RUM to upgrade islands, purchase pirate and resident NFTs, or craft and upgrade in-game items, ships, and more.
- Deflationary Mechanism: To support the in-game economy and reduce the circulating supply, 50% of RUM tokens are permanently burned whenever players purchase in-game services.
- Game Background: *Pirates of Arrland* is a game that combines Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) gameplay with economic and strategic elements. Players can own and trade NFT assets such as characters, items, ships, and land, all of which are issued on the Polygon network, ensuring transparent and immutable digital ownership.
How to Trade RUM Tokens
As of this writing, trading of the RUM – Pirates of Arrland token is primarily concentrated on decentralized exchanges (DEXs); no direct trading pairs have yet been listed on mainstream centralized exchanges (CEXs).

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX)
The RUM token is primarily traded on decentralized exchanges on the Polygon chain. Uniswap (deployed on the Polygon network) is one of the DEXs currently supporting RUM trading.
Centralized Exchanges (CEX)
Although some cryptocurrency data platforms display RUM price information and market data, based on currently available public information, there are no direct trading pairs for RUM listed on major centralized exchanges (such as Binance, Coinbase, Crypto.com, etc.). This means users cannot directly buy or sell RUM using fiat currency or major cryptocurrencies on these platforms.

How to Trade RUM on a Decentralized Exchange
For users wishing to trade RUM tokens, here are the general steps for trading on a decentralized exchange on the Polygon chain:
- Obtain a compatible Web3 wallet: First, you need to download and set up a cryptocurrency wallet compatible with the Polygon network, such as MetaMask. Make sure your wallet has the Polygon network added.
- Prepare the base token: Purchase a stablecoin such as USDT (Tether) or another base token supported by the Polygon network on a centralized exchange (CEX) or through other channels.
- Send the base tokens to your wallet: Withdraw the purchased base tokens to the Web3 wallet address you set up in Step 1. When withdrawing, be sure to select the correct network (e.g., the Polygon network) to avoid losing your assets.
- Connect your wallet to the DEX: Visit a decentralized exchange (DEX) that supports the RUM trading pair (such as the Polygon version of Uniswap). On the DEX interface, locate the “Connect Wallet” option and connect your Web3 wallet to the DEX.
- Execute the swap: On the DEX’s trading interface, select the trading pair you wish to swap, such as USDT/RUM.Enter the amount of USDT you wish to exchange, and the system will automatically display the corresponding amount of RUM you will receive. Carefully review the transaction details, including transaction fees and slippage settings, then confirm the transaction. Once the transaction is complete, the RUM tokens will appear in your Web3 wallet.
