Common Wealth (WLTH) Project Overview
Common Wealth is a decentralized platform whose core objective is to leverage Web3 technology to give retail investors access to private market opportunities and real-world assets that are typically reserved for institutional investors.By tokenizing early-stage cryptocurrency investment opportunities into on-chain “Slices,” Common Wealth aims to break down the barriers to entry in traditional venture capital, allowing retail investors to participate in promising early-stage projects with a minimum investment of just $20.

Project Positioning and Technical Foundation
The core philosophy of the Common Wealth platform is community-driven. It enhances transparency and security by evaluating and qualifying recommended projects through community governance processes. The platform divides millions of dollars in private allocations into on-chain tokenized “Slices,” each of which is backed 1:1 by real equity. As a decentralized application (DApp), Common Wealth operates on the Base Layer 2 chain, which helps improve transaction efficiency and reduce costs.
WLTH Token Functionality and Issuance
WLTH is the native token of the Common Wealth platform, issued as an ERC-20 asset. It plays several key roles within the ecosystem:

- Governance: WLTH holders can participate in the platform’s decision-making process, influencing project selection and the platform’s direction.
- Staking: Users can stake WLTH tokens to support network security and operations, and earn rewards.
- Fee Payment: Transaction and product fees on the platform can be paid using WLTH.
- Dividends and Rewards: WLTH can be used to pay dividends and serve as rewards for community contributors.
The Common Wealth project launched on the Base Layer 2 chain in February 2024. The WLTH token debuted in May 2025, and its Token Generation Event (TGE) was successfully completed on June 30, 2024.
