Tokemak (TOKE) is a decentralized market-making protocol designed to provide sustainable liquidity for DeFi projects. It aims to address the challenges of capital efficiency and impermanent loss in decentralized exchanges by creating a liquidity layer that can be directed to various protocols. Tokemak's core innovation lies in its "Liquidity Reactor" model, which separates liquidity provision from liquidity direction. This allows users to deposit single-sided assets (liquidity providers) while "Cores" (TOKE stakers) vote on where this liquidity should be deployed across different exchanges and protocols.

The protocol utilizes its native token, TOKE, for governance and to incentivize participants. TOKE holders, acting as "Liquidity Directors," stake their tokens to direct the aggregated liquidity to specific DeFi projects or trading pairs, earning rewards for their contributions. This mechanism helps projects acquire deep, sustainable liquidity without needing to manage complex liquidity mining programs themselves, thereby fostering a more robust and efficient DeFi ecosystem.

Tokemak's objective is to become a foundational piece of DeFi infrastructure, enabling efficient capital allocation and reducing the burden on projects to bootstrap liquidity.
