SKL SKALE

SKALE Network is an open-source, decentralized blockchain network designed to scale Ethereum dApps. It aims to provide developers with a high-performance, low-cost, and user-friendly platform for building and deploying decentralized applications. SKALE achieves this by utilizing a modular, multi-chain architecture composed of independent, configurable sidechains known as SKALE Chains, which are fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

SKALE Chains operate as independent blockchains that connect to the Ethereum mainnet. Each SKALE Chain can be customized to meet the specific needs of a dApp, offering benefits such as near-instant finality, high transaction throughput, and zero-cost gas fees for end-users. This architecture allows dApps to process transactions off-chain from the Ethereum mainnet, significantly reducing congestion and transaction costs while maintaining security through a pooled validation model.

The native utility token of the network is SKL. SKL serves multiple purposes within the SKALE ecosystem, including staking by validators who secure the network and earn rewards, staking by delegators who support validators, and payment for subscription fees by developers to rent SKALE Chains. The token also plays a role in network governance, allowing holders to participate in decisions regarding the network's future development and parameters.
