Svmuu News: The National Internet Emergency Center has issued a security risk advisory regarding OpenClaw. Previously, serious security risks have emerged due to the improper installation and use of OpenClaw agents. It is recommended that relevant organizations and individual users implement the following security measures when deploying and using OpenClaw: 1. Strengthen network controls; do not expose OpenClaw’s default management port directly to the public internet. Implement secure management of access services through security controls such as identity authentication and access control. Strictly isolate the runtime environment and use technologies such as containers to limit excessive privileges for OpenClaw; 2. Strengthen credential management; avoid storing keys in plain text within environment variables; and establish a comprehensive operational log auditing mechanism; 3. Strictly manage plugin sources; disable automatic update functions; install only signed and verified extensions from trusted sources. 4. Continuously monitor patches and security updates; promptly perform version updates and install security patches. (Jinshi)
