Foundry Officially Launches Zcash Mining Pool
Svmuu News: Foundry, a mining giant under Digital Currency Group (DCG) that accounts for approximately 31% of Bitcoin's hashrate, has officially launched a dedicated mining pool for Zcash (ZEC). The new pool targets institutional and listed miners, offering compliant and auditable mining services. This move is seen as a significant institutional endorsement for privacy coins, stemming from a surge in institutional interest in privacy assets. Foundry plans to apply the mature technical framework of its Bitcoin mining pool to the ZEC network. It is expected that several listed mining companies will allocate part of their hashrate to Zcash, which is anticipated to significantly enhance the network's hashrate and security. (Fortune)
