DefiLlama Founder: After Arbitrum Seizes Hacker Funds, Aave’s Bad Debt on That L2 Will Be Reduced by at Least 80%
Svmuu News: DefiLlama founder 0xngmi posted on X stating that after verifying the data, if Arbitrum prioritizes the use of seized funds for the AAVE market on Arbitrum, and assuming all rsETH shares the impairment, Aave would have absolutely no bad debt on Arbitrum; If the value of mainnet rsETH is the only priority (ignoring the value of the rsETH mapped to Layer 2), Aave’s bad debt on Arbitrum would be reduced by 80%, from $88 million to $17 million.
