Suspect in White House Correspondents' Dinner Security Incident to Be Indicted on the 27th
Svmuu reported that on April 26 local time, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that a search warrant had been executed on the suspect involved in the White House Correspondents' Dinner security incident, and it is believed the suspect traveled from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. by train, passing through Chicago. Blanche said the suspect will be arraigned in federal court on the morning of the 27th. Blanche stated that the gunman at the White House Correspondents' Dinner “intended to attack government employees, likely including the President himself.” Blanche added that investigators have been able to gather some information from the suspect's electronic devices and interviewed individuals who knew him, allowing them to begin forming a preliminary understanding of his motive.
