Svmuu News: Wormhole has announced that the Moonbeam network will officially shut down on July 31, 2026. During the transition period, the Moonbeam parallel chain will continue to operate, but it will cease operations after July 31.
Wormhole stated that, at that time, Portal and Wormhole contributors will be unable to assist in retrieving assets remaining on the Moonbeam chain, and recommended that users transfer their external assets off-chain via official Moonbeam channels before the deadline. Previously, Moonbeam had announced its exit from the Polkadot ecosystem and the migration of GLMR tokens to the Base network on a 1:1 basis.
