U.S. EIA crude oil inventories for the week ending July 3 stood at 2.998 million barrels, compared with an expected decline of 2.371 million barrels and a prior decline of 3.775 million barrels.
For the week ending July 3, U.S. EIA crude oil inventories at Cushing, Oklahoma, were down 52,000 barrels, compared to the previous reading of 709,000 barrels. (Jin Shi)
