Svmuu News: Claude posted on X stating that it has once again extended the subscription period for Claude Fable 5 by 7 days, until July 19. OpenAI posted on X stating that it has temporarily removed the 5-hour usage limit for Codex; the duration of this suspension is unknown.
Previously, due to ongoing computing capacity constraints, Claude had repeatedly postponed the date for switching Claude Fable 5 to a pay-as-you-go model. Subsequently, some users shared screenshots of high credit card bills and proof of subscription cancellations, stating that if this situation continues, they will switch to OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol or xAI’s Grok 4.5.
