Svmuu News: For the first time in more than 20 years, the U.S. Department of Defense has barred the public release of the annual report on the F-35 fighter jet program. The report, prepared at the request of the U.S. Congress, has been published annually since 2005. This year, during the review process, classified information that should not be disclosed was identified for the first time. The F-35 program has repeatedly faced criticism for budget overruns, delays in engine deliveries, postponed software updates, and premature wear and tear of components.
