Svmuu News: Digital asset firm Galaxy Digital has signed a 15-year strategic partnership agreement with Texas Tech University. Starting with the 2026 season, the university’s football home stadium will officially be renamed Galaxy Stadium.
Under the agreement, Galaxy will serve as the university’s official data center and digital asset partner for its athletics department. The partnership covers football and men’s and women’s basketball programs and will simultaneously facilitate the commercial development of student-athletes’ NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) rights. The two parties will also collaborate on industry-academia-research projects, including artificial intelligence R&D and campus talent development. The specific financial terms of this partnership have not yet been disclosed.
