Svmuu News reported that Bitcoin News posted on X, stating that Dathon Pwn claims to have discovered a consensus vulnerability in the BIP 110 late upgrade. This vulnerability could cause nodes upgraded from older software to retain their blockchain history, while newly deployed BIP 110 nodes would reject that history, potentially leading to a hidden chain split.
