Svmuu News: The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida has ordered the forfeiture of approximately 90.319 BTC, 7,999.873 XMR, and small amounts of XRP, XLM, and SOL held by Angelo Martino, a co-conspirator in the BlackCat/ALPHV ransomware scheme. Based on current market prices, the total value of these crypto assets is roughly $8.37 million, with BTC valued at approximately $5.84 million, XMR at approximately $2.46 million, and the other tokens totaling approximately $71,000. The court also ordered the forfeiture of his two properties in Florida, as well as assets such as cars and boats. Martino, who previously served as a ransomware negotiator, has already been sentenced to 70 months in prison for leaking client negotiation information to attackers and participating in ransomware attacks.
