Based on data released on the 19th by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Korea, and the National Statistical Office, South Korea’s per capita GDP is projected to reach $39,164 this year, an increase of $2,750 year-over-year, representing a 7.6% rise—the highest growth rate in nearly five years since 2021 (11.5%).
