Svmuu News: Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated that Bitmine’s recent pace of ETH purchases has slowed due to a large-scale stock buyback conducted during the same period. However, the company has maintained a weekly pace of ETH purchases since launching the ETH Treasury Strategy (Ethereum) on June 30, 2025.Over the past week, Bitmine repurchased approximately 5.5 million shares of common stock at an average price of $15.6156 per share; this share repurchase is expected to enhance shareholder value. In addition, Bitmine’s proprietary staking business generated a yield of 2.67% (annualized) over the past 7 days and will continue to strengthen its digital asset treasury strategy by expanding its ETH reserves and staking returns.
Currently, Bitmine holds approximately 5.78 million ETH, of which about 4.9 million ETH have been staked, accounting for 85% of its total ETH holdings. The annualized revenue from the current Ethereum staking business is estimated to be approximately $247 million. (PRNewswire)
