Svmuu News: Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine and co-founder of Fundstrat, stated that the relative performance of “AI downstream” assets continues to strengthen, with Ethereum (ETH) recently demonstrating significant outperformance relative to the DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) sector.
Data disclosed by Tom Lee shows that over the past month, ETH’s outperformance relative to DRAM has widened to 7,200 basis points (72 percentage points). During the same period, the price of ETH rose by approximately 24%, while DRAM-related ETFs fell by about 38%.
Tom Lee believes that as AI infrastructure investment gradually shifts from chips and computing power supply chains to the application layer and digital infrastructure, certain “downstream AI” assets are being repriced by the market.
As a market participant who has long been bullish on the Ethereum ecosystem, Tom Lee has previously emphasized on multiple occasions that, with the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and on-chain financial applications, Ethereum could become a vital component of the digital economy’s infrastructure in the AI era. This data comparison shows that the performance divergence between crypto assets and the traditional AI hardware supply chain is widening.
