In the foreign exchange market, the U.S. dollar against the offshore yuan (USD/CNH) was up 0% on the day, with the current exchange rate at 6.7684. The U.S. dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) fell 0.01% on the day, with the current exchange rate at 163.134.
In global stock markets, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (EUSTX50) rose 0.96% intraday to 6,292.22 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) rose 0.18% intraday to 10,614.3 points; and the German DAX 40 Index (GER40) rose 0.07% intraday to 25,074.5 points.
In the commodities market, WTI crude oil fell 0.02% intraday to $85.25 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.01% intraday to $90.09 per barrel.
