Svmuu News: Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin are set to meet with Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, in the United States. The meeting is expected to take place this week in the Silicon Valley area in a roundtable format, with the 24th being the most likely date.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei have also been mentioned as potential attendees. If the meeting takes place, participants will represent various sectors of the AI market, including memory, GPUs, and generative AI services.
This meeting is scheduled to take place prior to the launch of “Vera Rubin,” NVIDIA’s next-generation AI platform.With mass production of next-generation GPUs set to begin, stakeholders involved in HBM4 and other memory supply, as well as AI data centers and cloud infrastructure, will participate in the discussions.
Last month, Samsung Electronics held discussions with NVIDIA regarding the HBM4 supply schedule and volume, foundry and SOCAMM collaboration, and joint development of next-generation HBM.SK plans to build a gigawatt-scale AI factory and AI cloud based on the NVIDIA platform, with the first phase set to launch in South Korea next year; Naver has also disclosed plans to build a gigawatt-scale global AI factory in collaboration with NVIDIA.
