HKT Token Overview and Market Profile
HKT (Hong Kong Token) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2023 that operates on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). According to the project’s vision, HKT and its associated project, HKSwap, aim to build a one-stop blockchain infrastructure for “people in the developing world,” with the goal of promoting the adoption of blockchain technology within a compliant framework.

It is worth noting that, as of this writing, HKT has not been listed for trading on major centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CEXs) such as Binance (Binance), Bitget, or Coinbase. This means users cannot buy or sell HKT directly through the spot markets of these platforms. Its primary trading activity is concentrated on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
In terms of market data, HKT’s trading activity is relatively low. Public data shows that its 24-hour trading volume is frequently reported as $0.00 or “Not Applicable” (N/A), indicating extremely low on-chain trading liquidity recently. The total supply stands at 1,000,000,000 HKT.Reports on the circulating supply vary across sources; for example, CoinMarketCap lists a self-reported circulating supply of 1,000,000,000 HKT, while Coinbase shows 0 HKT.Market capitalization data is also frequently displayed as “Data Not Available” or $0, which is related to inconsistencies between low trading volume and circulating supply reports. Before trading, investors should verify the latest prices and project information on market data platforms such as Svmuu and should fully understand the associated liquidity risks.

How to Obtain HKT Tokens (Purchase)
Since HKT is primarily traded through decentralized channels, the purchase process involves a Web3 wallet and a DEX. Here are the specific steps:
- Create a centralized exchange account and complete identity verification (KYC): If you do not yet hold any cryptocurrency, you’ll first need to register an account and complete identity verification on a major centralized exchange such as Binance (Binance) or Bitget.
- Purchase stablecoins: Use methods such as bank transfers or credit/debit cards to purchase stablecoins like USDT or USDC on a centralized exchange. These stablecoins will serve as the base currency for your HKT purchase.
- Set up a Web3 wallet: Download and set up a Web3 wallet that supports the BNB Smart Chain, such as MetaMask, Binance Web3 Wallet, or Bitget Wallet. Be sure to securely store your mnemonic phrase or private key, as this is the sole means of accessing your assets.
- Transfer Stablecoins to Your Web3 Wallet: Withdraw the stablecoins you purchased on a centralized exchange to your Web3 wallet address. Be sure to select the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network for the transfer to avoid losing your assets.
- Connect your Web3 wallet to a DEX and make the swap: Open your Web3 wallet; typically, the wallet has a built-in DEX feature or allows you to connect to an external DEX platform (such as PancakeSwap). On the DEX’s “Swap” screen, select to swap your stablecoin (such as USDT) for HKT.You may need to manually enter the HKT contract address to ensure you are swapping for the correct token.
- Confirm the transaction: Enter the amount of HKT you wish to purchase; your wallet will display the estimated transaction fee (gas fee). Carefully review the transaction details, then approve and confirm the transaction. Once the transaction is complete, the HKT tokens will appear in your Web3 wallet.

How to Sell HKT Tokens
The process for selling HKT tokens is similar to buying them, but in reverse; the ultimate goal is typically to exchange cryptocurrency for fiat currency.

- Swap via a Web3 Wallet: If your HKT tokens are stored in a Web3 wallet, you can swap them for other major cryptocurrencies—such as USDT, USDC, or BNB—using the wallet’s built-in DEX feature or by connecting to a DEX platform.
- Withdraw the Swapped Tokens to a Centralized Exchange: Withdraw the stablecoins or other major cryptocurrencies you’ve swapped in your Web3 wallet to your account on a centralized exchange such as Binance or Bitget. Again, be sure to select the correct BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network.
- Sell for fiat currency on a centralized exchange: On the spot market of a centralized exchange, you can sell the withdrawn cryptocurrency for fiat currencies such as U.S. dollars (USD) or euros (EUR). Some exchanges also offer P2P trading or one-click buy/sell features, allowing you to sell cryptocurrency directly to other users or the platform and receive fiat currency.
- Withdrawing fiat currency: Finally, withdraw the fiat currency you received from the sale from the exchange to your linked bank account or e-wallet.
Important Note

Due to the extremely low trading volume and incomplete market capitalization data for the HKT token, it carries a high liquidity risk. Before trading any cryptocurrency, be sure to conduct thorough research to understand the project’s background, market conditions, and potential risks.
