Svmuu News: On July 7, a McKinsey study revealed that in 2023, only 30% of employees used AI to assist with their work, but by 2025, that figure had risen to 76%. The “McKinsey 2025 New Era of Work Survey” revealed that 51% of organizations reported that generative AI had reduced their demand for entry-level positions. Between 2023 and 2025, the turnover rate among employees with less than one year of tenure fell from 37% to 32%, approaching the 30% rate seen among employees with more than three years of tenure. The survey found that AI creators and heavy AI users reported the highest sense of job belonging, but they were 7% more likely to leave within the next 3 to 6 months than light AI users and 10% more likely than employees who do not use AI. The survey indicates that the main factors motivating employees to stay include finding their work meaningful, having flexible work arrangements, having opportunities for career development and promotion, receiving trust and support from colleagues, and earning a decent salary and sufficient recognition.
