Svmuu News: On Wednesday, the Seoul stock market returned to the 7,000-point mark. As risk appetite rebounded and foreign investors stepped up their buying, South Korea’s KOSPI index surged by more than 8% at one point during the trading session. As of 2:30 p.m. local time, foreign investors had made net purchases of 2.4 trillion won (approximately $1.61 billion) worth of stocks, more than double the previous day’s net purchases of nearly 1 trillion won. Institutional investors made net purchases of 180 billion won, though their buying pace slowed compared to Tuesday.
