Svmuu News: FTX has announced that only holders of 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, and Category 7 claim holders who complete these steps by June 16 are eligible to receive payments, which will be disbursed within 1 to 3 business days starting July 31.
Creditors in 45 jurisdictions—including Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, and Iran—remain unable to participate in this distribution round due to the lack of available distribution service providers. FTX noted that service provider coverage may be adjusted in the future, but even if these jurisdictions are opened up later, payments made on July 31 will not be retroactive.
FTX reminds creditors that if they do not complete the provider onboarding process within six months of July 31, they may forfeit their right to the corresponding claim distribution. As of now, the cumulative distribution ratios announced by FTX are: 105% for Classes 5A and 5B, 103% for Classes 6A and 6B, and 120% for Class 7; however, these ratios are based on court-approved claim amounts rather than current market value.
