Svmuu News: An OKX survey of 1,400 U.S. crypto traders found that approximately 70% of respondents are willing to let AI manage their portfolios without manual review of each transaction, including fully autonomous operations or automated decision-making within self-set risk limits. Younger respondents were more willing to relinquish control. Thirty-eight percent of Gen Z traders and 37% of Millennials said they were willing to grant AI full, unsupervised access, compared to 11% of Baby Boomers.
The survey found that 51% of respondents use AI tools multiple times a week for research or trading, and 77% have used general-purpose chatbots to research crypto positions in the past three months. Real-time notifications and the ability to instantly revoke system permissions were the safeguards respondents most wanted.
Seventy-nine percent of respondents said they would consider switching exchanges if other exchanges offered better AI tools. The U.S. SEC, FINRA, and state securities regulators have reminded investors to verify platform registration information and to be wary of promises of low risk and high returns.
