Svmuu News: According to data from the Korea Exchange, foreign investors made net purchases in the South Korean stock market for four consecutive trading days from July 20 to 23, with a cumulative net inflow of 5.574 trillion won—marking the first time since April that net inflows have occurred for four consecutive days.Among these, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix were the primary recipients of the capital inflows, recording net purchases of 1.73 trillion won and 2.76 trillion won, respectively. Together, they accounted for 4.48 trillion won, representing more than 80 percent of the total net foreign purchases during the same period.
The market believes that tech giants such as Google, and others have continued to raise their AI capital expenditure forecasts, driving an improvement in the demand outlook for HBM and server DRAM. Coupled with the increased attractiveness of these companies’ valuations following earlier adjustments, this has led foreign investors to concentrate their investments in South Korea’s leading memory chip manufacturers.
