Stablecoin issuer Mandela Digital raises $5 million in funding; Datavault AI participates in the round
Svmuu News: Stablecoin issuer Mandela Digital announced the completion of a $5 million funding round, with Datavault AI participating as an investor. The new funds will be used for stablecoin infrastructure development, compliance, exchange integration, liquidity, and marketing, as well as to accelerate the launch of the Mandela Dollar (MUSD), a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar. According to reports, MUSD is positioned to promote financial inclusion, cross-border remittances, and digital payments in the Global South. Datavault AI will also provide technical support for MUSD, including an AI platform, blockchain tokenization, SanQtum post-quantum encryption, and a real-world asset (RWA) framework. (Globenewswire)
