Svmuu News NVIDIA announced Friday that it will partner with South Korea’s SK Group on an AI initiative worth more than $500 billion, covering the construction of large-scale AI data centers and next-generation memory technology.The initiative includes establishing a long-term partnership with SK Hynix to secure a supply of next-generation memory for NVIDIA and to jointly develop High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) for AI training, AI agents, and physical AI applications.SK Telecom plans to build an AI data center with an installed capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW). The center will utilize NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix’s HBM4 high-bandwidth memory, with the first facility expected to begin operations in 2027. (Jin Shi)
