Svmuu News: Lido stated that the development team is investigating an anomaly reported by the protocol’s accounting oracle resulting from today’s stETH yield revaluation. This revaluation shows an annualized yield of 2.04%, compared to the expected value of 2.15%. This discrepancy is not due to validator slashing; rather, the issue stems from the fact that 32 ETH staked by a validator—which was in a pending confirmation state—was not included in the oracle’s calculations.Developers have repeatedly cross-checked the total balances of all Lido validators on the Ethereum consensus layer at the time of the oracle report and thereafter, and have found no signs of risk to any assets; users do not need to take any action. The team is currently investigating the root cause of the issue; once the fix is deployed, the next round of yield recalculation will include the underreported assets in the calculation. A full update will be released once the root cause has been identified.
