Analyst: Chinese DRAM Manufacturers May Further Advance 3D DRAM R&D in 2027
Svmuu News: Citrini analyst jukan posted on X that, during a call between Goldman Sachs and a Chinese DRAM industry expert, the expert stated that although yield rates may be lower, Chinese suppliers’ DRAM prices are on par with those of global leaders; Chinese DRAM manufacturers may make further progress in 3D DRAM product development by 2027; capacity expansions currently underway in Hefei, Shanghai, and Beijing are expected to reach full production by 2028; and some wafer fabs reportedly rely primarily on domestically produced Chinese equipment, with the exception of high-end tools such as lithography systems.
