Svmuu News: On the 26th local time, Iranian sources, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that the IRGC Navy is maintaining control over approximately 240,000 square kilometers of waters in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz through continuous patrols and surveillance. According to the report, the Revolutionary Guards stated that any vessel that fails to accept and comply with the order and regulations established by Iran will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The Revolutionary Guards also stated that U.S. military forces had attempted to alter the course of vessels but were met with warning shots from Iranian forces, forcing the vessels in question to turn back. The Revolutionary Guard stated that over the past 24 hours, a total of six vessels were forced to drop anchor and comply with Iranian instructions after receiving warnings from the Revolutionary Guard.
