Svmuu News: Crypto influencer @Joes-Crypto posted on X, stating, “As one of the first influencers to discover and publicly warn about anomalies in BitMart’s hot wallet, I’ve received private messages from users over the past couple of days saying their accounts have been frozen. When they try to log in, they see the following message: ‘ Due to security policies, your account has been frozen. Please contact customer service. [-1005]’ BitMart has now released an announcement regarding the termination of operations, but the most critical issues remain unaddressed:
• Some users’ accounts have been frozen, and they are unable to log in normally.
• How are users who cannot log in supposed to verify their assets and submit withdrawal requests?
• The announcement does not specify a clear timeline for when withdrawals will be enabled or a deadline for their completion.
• When exactly will withdrawals that have already been submitted but not yet credited be processed?
• Does customer service have sufficient staff and formal procedures in place to handle the return of all users’ assets?
After an exchange announces the termination of operations, the most important thing is not simply a statement that “user assets are safe,” but rather the publication of a verifiable, trackable timeline for asset returns.
With some users currently unable to log in, and the official statement failing to explain the reasons for the account freezes, how to unfreeze them, or the completion date for withdrawals, this clearly fails to dispel market concerns.”
