Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that Deribit has obtained a broker-dealer license from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), which will enable it to access Coinbase Exchange's market and liquidity. Armstrong noted that the UAE is actively embracing modern finance and digital assets.
