13F Filings Show: David Tepper Increases NVIDIA Stake, Dan Loeb Liquidates, George Soros Buys Puts to Hedge Existing Positions
The latest 13F filings (holdings as of June 30, 2026, submitted on August 14) show that David Tepper of Appaloosa LP increased his holdings in NVIDIA (NVDA) by 53,500 shares to 1,525,000 shares, while Dan Loeb of Third Point liquidated his entire 190,000 shares of NVIDIA stock. Meanwhile, Soros Fund Management bought 400,000 notional put options but still holds 1,064,635 shares of NVIDIA stock, indicating that its put options are used to hedge existing large long positions rather than for directional shorting.
