Lowe's (LOW) shares fell as much as 3% in premarket trading after the company provided a cautious outlook, citing "pressure" in do-it-yourself (DIY) consumer spending. For the second quarter, Lowe's reported revenue of $26 billion, slightly below the $26.1 billion expected by analysts, though adjusted earnings per share of $4.27 exceeded predictions. The company also updated its full-year 2026 guidance, now expecting total sales of $92 billion (down from a prior range of $92 billion to $94 billion) and comparable sales to be flat, compared to a previous high-end estimate of a 2% increase. Adjusted diluted EPS is projected to be approximately $12.25, at the lower end of its prior range.
