CFC, short for CoinField Coin, is a native utility token announced by the European cryptocurrency exchange CoinField on November 30, 2021; it is also known as Field Coin.
What is CFC?
CFC is an ERC-20 standard token based on the Ethereum blockchain, with a total supply capped at 1 billion tokens, which will not increase.
The main features and uses of CFC include:
- Platform Fee Discounts: Holders can use CFC tokens to pay various fees on the CoinField platform—including trading fees, withdrawal fees, and listing fees—and enjoy discounts.
- Reward Mechanism: CFC tokens can be earned as rewards for participating in CoinField’s partner, referral, and staking programs.
- African Food Security: CFC tokens have significant social value. Through a partnership with Tingo Mobile PLC, Africa’s largest agricultural fintech company, they aim to enhance food security in Africa by leveraging the power of cryptocurrency to increase the wealth and purchasing power of African farmers and their families.
- Core of the Ecosystem: CFC tokens play a central role in the CoinField ecosystem, with the exchange’s operations spanning 186 countries worldwide.
- Future Development: CoinField plans to issue CFC tokens on various blockchains in the future to achieve interoperability with other major crypto ecosystems. It also plans to create its own CoinField blockchain, which will include DEX (decentralized exchange) and DeFi (decentralized finance) projects, as well as launch NFT and gaming projects.
Where can CFC be traded?
Based on current information, CFC is primarily used on its native platform, the CoinField exchange. Additionally, users can trade it on certain decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
- CoinField Exchange: As the native token, CFC plays a role within the CoinField exchange ecosystem and can be used to pay platform fees.
- Decentralized Exchanges (DEX): For example, users can connect to supported DEXs via the Binance Web3 wallet to buy or sell CFC tokens. Similarly, Bitget Wallet also supports trading CFC tokens through its DEX trading platform.
