What is ASTA?
ASTA is a blockchain-based digital asset whose core objective is to create a convenient payment system that overcomes the limitations of traditional payment methods and enables widespread use in daily life. Development of the project began in 2017, and it officially launched in 2019.
Project Background and Technical Foundation

- Technical Architecture: ASTA is an ERC-20 token issued on the Ethereum platform. The ASTA platform not only supports cryptocurrencies with variable and fixed values but also utilizes atomic swap technology to facilitate exchanges between different blockchain platforms. Its underlying technology integrates blockchain, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Vision and Objectives: ASTA is committed to becoming a currency usable in everyday life, aiming to connect multiple industries—including retail, hospitality, healthcare, and e-commerce—to provide users with a convenient digital payment experience.
- Key Stakeholders: The ASTA Foundation is registered in Singapore, while Korfin Holdings, acting as its trustee, is responsible for the platform’s creation and development. Korfin Holdings also co-founded ASTA TOUR, an online travel platform that integrates blockchain technology.
Use Cases
The use cases for the ASTA token span multiple sectors and are designed to enhance users’ experience with digital assets in the real world:
- Purchase of Goods and Services: Users can use ASTA to purchase various goods and services.
- Travel and Hospitality: In South Korea, ASTA can be used to book hotels and resorts.
- Retail Gift Cards: Users can also purchase mobile gift cards for over 3,800 products from more than 110 popular brands, including Starbucks and Paris Baguette.

Where Can ASTA Be Traded?
The ASTA token can be traded on select centralized and decentralized exchanges. Since it is based on the ERC-20 standard (Ethereum), users can connect to decentralized exchanges via a Web3 wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens.
Centralized Exchanges (CEX)
- Coinone Exchange: According to public information, Coinone Exchange officially launched ASTA trading on October 15, 2020.
- Other Platforms: Some major trading platforms, such as Coinbase, Binance, Crypto.com, Gate.com, Bitget, and KuCoin, may provide ASTA price information or support purchasing ASTA by connecting to decentralized exchanges via their Web3 wallets. Please note that not all platforms offer ASTA spot trading pairs directly on their centralized trading boards; please refer to each platform’s official announcements for specific trading methods.

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX)
- Uniswap V2 (Base): As a popular decentralized exchange within the Ethereum ecosystem, Uniswap V2 (on the Base network) is one of the active trading venues for pairs such as ASTA/VIRTUAL. Users can connect to such DEXs via Web3 wallets like MetaMask to trade.
