MER Token (Mercurial Finance) Project Overview
MER is the native token of the Mercurial Finance ecosystem. Mercurial Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) project built on the Solana blockchain. Its core objective is to build a dynamic stable asset vault that provides efficient, low-slippage exchange services for stablecoins, thereby enhancing the utility and returns of stablecoin assets within the Solana ecosystem.Through innovative mechanisms, such as a dynamic fee schedule that adjusts liquidity provider (LP) fees based on market volatility, the project aims to optimize LP profits and empower the community to participate in project decision-making through a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization).

How to Buy and Sell MER Tokens
Since MER is primarily active within the Solana ecosystem, the methods for buying and selling it are similar to those for many tokens on independent public blockchains, primarily conducted through decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
Steps to Buy MER Tokens:
- Acquire a mainstream cryptocurrency: First, you’ll need to purchase a mainstream cryptocurrency—such as USDT, USDC, or SOL—on a centralized exchange (CEX) that supports fiat currency trading.
- Set up a Web3 wallet: Withdraw the purchased mainstream cryptocurrency to a Web3 wallet that supports the Solana network, such as Phantom, Solflare, or Trust Wallet. These wallets allow you to securely manage on-chain assets and connect to decentralized applications.
- Connect to a DEX for the Exchange: Use your Web3 wallet to connect to a decentralized exchange (DEX) that supports MER trading, such as Raydium. On the DEX trading interface, select the mainstream cryptocurrency you hold as the payment currency, choose MER as the receiving currency, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction.

Steps to Sell MER:
Selling MER tokens is typically the reverse of the purchase process. You can exchange them back into mainstream cryptocurrencies (such as USDT, USDC, or SOL) on a decentralized exchange that supports MER tokens, then transfer these mainstream cryptocurrencies back to a centralized exchange, where you can convert them into fiat currency and withdraw the funds.
On which exchanges is MER listed?

Mercurial Finance (MER) is primarily traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), though some centralized exchanges have offered or are currently offering trading services for it. Please note that the listing status on cryptocurrency trading platforms is subject to change over time; be sure to verify the latest information on market data platforms such as Svmuu before trading.
Decentralized Exchanges (DEX):
- Raydium: As one of the major DEXs in the Solana ecosystem, Raydium is a key trading venue for MER.
- Crypto.com Onchain: MER tokens may be traded via Crypto.com’s decentralized product, “Onchain.”

Centralized Exchanges (CEX):
- Gate.io: This platform previously listed MER trading pairs.
- Historical Context: Bittrex listed MER in 2018, offering MER/BTC and MER/USDT trading pairs; however, the platform ceased operations in the U.S. in 2023 and globally in 2024. Hotbit also listed MER, but the platform ceased operations in 2023.Major centralized exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin do not currently support direct trading of MER, but their Web3 wallets or related guides may direct users to trade via DEXs.
