Current Status of the LUA Token Project: LuaSwap Has Ceased Operations
The LUA token is the native token of the decentralized exchange LuaSwap. However, according to an official announcement, the LuaSwap project ceased all product operations and website services on March 31, 2024. The project team cited insufficient funding and a strategic realignment as the reasons for this decision.Since then, the LUA token is no longer supported or managed by LuaSwap or its original backer, TomoChain Lab Pte. Ltd.
LUA Token Trading Status and Risk Warning
As of July 2026, major cryptocurrency data platforms (such as CoinGecko) indicate that trading activity for the LUA token on all exchanges where it was previously listed has essentially ceased several weeks ago. This means the LUA token currently lacks liquidity, and its market value has plummeted—potentially even to zero.
Given that the project has ceased operations and the token is no longer supported, the LUA token is no longer an active trading asset. Investors should exercise extreme caution regarding any trading activity related to the LUA token, as it carries extremely high liquidity risk and the risk of its value dropping to zero.
Historical Trading Activity of the LUA Token (Now Inactive)
During the active phase of the LuaSwap project, the LUA token was primarily traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), such as Uniswap V2 and SushiSwap. These platforms previously offered trading pairs such as LUA/WETH.
Regarding centralized exchanges (CEX), major platforms such as Binance (Binance), Bitget, and WEEX have all explicitly stated that the LUA token is not currently listed for trading on their platforms or that related services have been discontinued. Other large exchanges, such as KuCoin, have not provided clear information indicating that LUA is actively traded on their platforms.
Important Note: Given that the LUASwap project has been shut down, the LUA token is no longer supported, and there are virtually no active trading channels for it on the market at present. Any platform or information claiming that LUA tokens can still be traded easily should be treated with caution, and users should verify its authenticity and associated risks on their own.
Historical Data for the LUA Token (for reference only; does not represent current value)
The LUA token had price records during the project’s active period; for example, its all-time high reached approximately $0.5325. The circulating supply once reached approximately 217 million LUA, with a maximum supply of 500 million LUA. However, these historical data no longer hold practical market reference value following the project’s cessation of operations.
Please note that there may be other tokens on the market with similar names or tickers (e.g., “Lumi Finance (LUA)”), whose historical prices and data differ from those of the LUA token issued by LuaSwap. Investors must carefully verify the token’s identity to avoid confusion.
