BOO is the native cryptocurrency and governance token of the SpookySwap decentralized exchange (DEX). SpookySwap is an automated market maker (AMM) platform built on the Fantom Opera network, designed to provide users with a high-speed, secure, and low-cost trading experience. The platform's core functions include token swaps, liquidity provision, liquidity mining, and single-asset staking pools.

BOO token holders can participate in platform governance, voting on proposals for the protocol's future development, thereby influencing SpookySwap's direction. Additionally, BOO is distributed as rewards to liquidity providers, and SpookySwap's trading fees are also collected in BOO tokens. SpookySwap launched on April 17, 2021, and its BOO token follows the FRC-20 standard of the Fantom network.
