BiKi Exchange Overview and History
BiKi Exchange, established in Singapore in 2018, was a cryptocurrency platform that offered a wide range of digital asset trading services. During its operation, BiKi supported over 470 cryptocurrencies and 515 trading pairs, with its business scope covering diverse products such as spot trading, contract trading, grid trading, leverage, YuBiBao, collateralized lending, ETFs, and liquidity mining. The platform once claimed to have 1.7 million registered users and over 130,000 daily active users.

Platform Token BIKI and its Current Status
BiKi Exchange's platform token was BIKI, an ERC20 standard token based on Ethereum, launched on August 1, 2018. According to BiKi's previous mechanism, 100% of trading fees were used for the buyback and BIKI token burn. However, as of the time of writing, on mainstream data platforms like Coinbase and CoinDesk, the price of the BIKI token is displayed as $0.00, and various data points such as its market capitalization, circulating supply, and total supply are marked as "insufficient data," indicating that the token no longer has an active trading market.

Cessation of Operations and Regulatory Impact
BiKi Exchange's operations took a turn in 2021. In response to evolving regulatory policy requirements, the BiKi platform ceased new user registration and KYC (Know Your Customer) services in mainland China on September 26, 2021. Subsequently, the platform officially ceased all operations on November 30, 2021. Since then, users have been unable to access the platform via web or mobile applications. For users who failed to withdraw assets in time, the platform stated that their assets would enter a manual paid custody program.
Controversies and Industry Evaluation

During BiKi's operation, some controversies emerged. Reports indicated that Du Jun was considered the mastermind and investor behind BiKi. He had previously co-founded Huobi and established the blockchain media "Jinse Finance" and the fund "Node Capital," creating a closed-loop "exchange + media + investment fund" model in the digital currency industry. Du Jun actively endorsed BiKi and dispatched a team to provide brand promotion and technical services. However, some project teams also claimed that after paying high listing fees, they found a large number of "zombie accounts" in the cooperative communities, raising suspicions of data manipulation by the platform.
