What is RDAI?

RDAI is an ERC-20 token based on the Ethereum blockchain. Its core design concept is to separate the principal and interest of the stablecoin DAI, thereby creating a more flexible interest distribution model.

Its mechanism works as follows: when users deposit DAI stablecoins into a specific interest-bearing pool, they receive an equivalent amount of rDAI tokens as proof. These rDAI tokens represent the deposited DAI principal, but the interest generated can be independently distributed to any Ethereum address specified by the user. This means that the beneficiary of the interest can be the user themselves, a community fund, a charity, or a decentralized application (dApp). rDAI tokens themselves can be transferred and traded like other ERC-20 tokens, and holders can redeem them for an equivalent amount of DAI at any time.

The project's original intention was to unlock the potential of idle interest in DeFi through this mechanism, providing a sustainable funding stream for scenarios such as charitable donations, community funds, and developer incentives.

Similar Concepts to Distinguish

When discussing RDAI, it is important to note the concept of "Real Data Assets" (RDA) proposed by the Shanghai Data Exchange in 2025. RDA aims to use blockchain and other technologies to bind the operational data of physical assets to the assets themselves, forming verifiable and tradable digital asset units, which may also be linked to stablecoin issuance. This is a completely different concept from rDAI (RDAI), the interest-separated token based on Ethereum discussed in this article, and no official connection has been observed between the two.

Market Status and Trading Channels

According to information from multiple mainstream data platforms in early October 2026, the 24-hour trading volume of RDAI tokens has shown as zero or extremely low, and its market capitalization has also fallen to zero or is untraceable. Several major trading platforms, including Binance, have explicitly stated that they do not support trading of this token.

Overall, the trading market for this token has nearly dried up, lacking effective transactions. Currently, RDAI has no reliable active trading channels.

Historical Data Review

For historical reference, the all-time high price of RDAI tokens reached approximately $1.21, and the all-time low price was about $0.4253 (occurring in July 2023). These data reflect its past market performance, but the current situation has fundamentally changed.
