Bookings for vacation rentals in several popular Chinese cities doubled during the New Year's holiday
Tujia, a global platform for booking apartments and vacation rentals, announced on the 3rd that during the New Year’s Day holiday, the number of vacation rental bookings in popular cities on the platform increased by 1.6 times year-over-year. The top three cities with the highest number of vacation rental bookings were Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Chongqing. In terms of age groups, the “Gen Z” demographic was the main driver of vacation rental consumption.
