Donald Trump Expressed dissatisfaction with Putin, saying that too many people have died as a result
U.S. President Donald Trump has once again expressed dissatisfaction with Russian President Putin. Although the former has attempted to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he remains exasperated by the Kremlin’s ongoing military operations. “I’m not happy with Putin; he’s killed too many people,” Donald Trump said Saturday at a press conference held at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. These remarks came just hours after the U.S. carried out a bold operation to capture Venezuelan leader Maduro. “I thought one of the easiest conflicts to resolve would be the Russia-Ukraine issue, but that hasn’t been the case,” Donald Trump said, referring to his pledge to end the conflict on his first day back in the White House. This is the latest sign of Donald Trump’s growing frustration with Moscow. In recent weeks, the U.S. has restarted diplomatic efforts, and Donald Trump recently met with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, with both sides expressing optimism about an impending peace agreement. But Putin dashed those hopes on Monday, informing the U.S. president that he would reassess Moscow’s negotiating position and claiming that Ukraine had attacked one of his residences with drones.
