Angie Rodríguez, Chief of Staff to the President of Colombia, announced on the evening of the 3rd that Colombia has requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the 5th and proposed a special session of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States to address the impact of developments in Venezuela on regional stability.
