Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 5th that, looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan, the innovation support system for the Yangtze River Economic Belt will be improved. First, we will promote scientific and technological innovation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt to produce a number of original achievements; second, we will advance innovation and entrepreneurship to foster more innovative enterprises; and third, we will improve the innovation system and ecosystem so that the seeds of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creation can grow into towering trees.
